GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — The recent spate of clear-ish mornings and overcast-to-stormy afternoons and evenings should continue again today. Look for a high of 81 degrees and a 30 percent chance of precipitation after 11 a.m. Roughly the same conditions are in the forecast for Thursday as well before things potentially clear out heading into Friday.

The recent storms have kept fire crews around the region busy with a series of small fires, many single trees, due to lightning strikes in the area.

The Sierra Chef Farm to Fork Farmers Market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Lampe Park.

Toddler storytime for children 18 months to 3 years of age will be at 10:30 a.m., at the Douglas County Public Library.  Children will participate in music and felt-board stories.  The Minden Library is located at 1625 Library Lane.

That’s a full lid for this morning. Take care out there and have a great day.
