GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — Scattered thunderstorms are in the forecast once again starting after 11 a.m. today. Look for a high of 81 degrees.

Clear skies and temperatures in the low- to mid-80s are expected this weekend, with precipitation expected to return through most of next week.

The Suicide Prevention Network of Douglas County’s “Walk In Memory, Walk For Hope — Ride In Memory, Ride For Hope” event is Saturday morning at Heritage Park in Gardnerville. More information on that can be found here.

Douglas volleyball and both the Douglas girls and boys tennis teams picked up wins Thursday afternoon. The Douglas football team has its home-opener this evening against Spanish Springs at 7 p.m.
