MINDEN, Nev. — With the significant heave of a gigantic crane and some fine-tuning at the top, the roof of the Bently Heritage silos was lifted into place Monday morning.

The silos of the historic Minden Flour Mill had been without a roof since late 2015 as renovations were made to the structure that will house the Bently Heritage Distillery.

Traffic on Highway 395 was diverted down Esmeralda Avenue and County Road as a precautionary measure while the roof was lifted into place. The highway reopened around 10:30 a.m.
