MINDEN, Nev. — The Bently silos roof structure will be installed Monday, May 15 between 8-10 a.m.

Miles Construction will be using a crane to install the roof structure onto the old mill silos on Highway 395 in Minden. Both directions of 395 will be closed for about an hour near the construction site once the installation begins.

Traffic will be diverted on Hwy 395 north and south of the construction site and signs will provide an alternative route. Expect a slowdown on 395. Details of the alternate routes have not yet been issued but will be posted here when that information is released.

The closure is a precautionary measure.

Buckeye Road will also be affected and will be closed at Heybourne Road. Traffic from Buckeye will be diverted into the Winhaven development starting at 9 a.m.

The plan to install the roof structure is contingent upon the wind conditions
