MEFIYI Honors 2017 Molly Youth Award Winners

GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — The 13th Annual Molly Youth Awards honors outstanding student athletes and celebrates the life of Douglas High School student-athlete Molly Lahlum. Forty award winners were recognized for their combined academic achievement, athletic participation and community service excellence.

The evening was hosted by the Carson Valley Inn and presented by MEFIYI (Me-for-Incredible-Youth, Inc.) staff JoJo and Suzi Townsell and Advisory Members Mike McLaughlin, Kaycee Summers, Brad Fiene, Alicia Main and Christy Nolting.

Douglas High School Alumnus Mia Townsell and Douglas High School freshman student athlete Olivia Johnson presented the event winners.

Three $1,000 George and Josie Graham Memorial Scholarship Scholarships were awarded to Douglas High School seniors, Taryn Allmett Hannah Mora, who both will be attending University of Nevada and Madelyn Landerfelt who has been admitted to Lewis and Clark College.
