GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — We put the most recent storm behind us late last night, though we’re starting the day out in the 20 degree range.

Look for mostly sunny skies today with a high of 53 degrees — similar conditions tomorrow with a high of 61. Rain is a possibility for Sunday and Monday.

The Douglas-Carson High School Rodeo Club will host its annual high school rodeo beginning today at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Cutting and working cow horse events are slated for today. Events will continue Saturday and Sunday.

The Douglas High School Comedy Improv Show is set for tonight and Saturday in the school’s drama room at 7 p.m. both nights. Cost is $5 pre-sale (available from students or in the school office) or $10 at the door.

Douglas baseball will make up its home game against Reno this afternoon at 3:45 p.m. The contest was wiped out by soggy conditions on Thursday.

That’s a full lid for this morning. Take care out there and have a great day.
