Good Morning, Carson Valley: March 10

GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — Look for partly sunny skies today with a high of 64 degrees. There is a slight chance of rain (about 20 percent) after 10 a.m.

The weekend will bring highs in the mid-60s with clear skies.

Both forks of the Carson River, along with the main stem, have been posting gradual rises over the past several days as snow from the latest storm continues to melt off. the East Fork in Gardnerville rose roughly 2.5 inches over the past 24 hours. All gauges remain several feet below flood stage.

The Douglas baseball team opened its season with a 10-0 win over Truckee. You can read more about that here.
