GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — Dr. Chris Blaha and his wife Kendra have opened up Motion Spine & Sport Chiropractic Clinic, located at 1516 Highway 395, Suite C in Gardnerville.
Blaha grew up on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe, graduating from South Tahoe High School. After working a number of years in the Carson City/Carson Valley area, he returned to school, eventually earning his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.
He developed an interest in the healing arts, and chiropractic in particular, which led him to enroll at Palmer Chiropractic College – West Campus in San Jose, California.
While at Palmer, Dr. Blaha studied the art, science, and philosophy of chiropractic care. He learned many different methods of chiropractic adjusting. In addition to treating the neck and back, his particular interests include treating problems with the extremities (the arms and legs), treating children, and sports related injuries.
He graduated from Palmer in December 2014 and spent the next two years working locally in Minden.
Blaha is licensed to practice in the state of Nevada and was voted the Carson Valley’s Best Chiropractor in the 2016 “Best Of” reader survey conducted by The Record-Courier.
Dr. Blaha is married to his wife Kendra, who is a native of the Carson Valley. Their son, Justin, is a graduate of Douglas High School.
