GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — On January 2, 2017, Carson Tahoe Health will begin offering convenient, low-cost Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals at the Carson Tahoe Clinic at Wal-Mart in Gardnerville.
Federal law requires drivers of commercial motor vehicles to receive regular Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examinations. DOT physicals are regulated for the drivers’ safety and can detect issues that can affect a driver’s ability to safely drive a commercial vehicle. DOT physicals must be conducted by a licensed “medical examiner” listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry.
Our DOT certified providers are ready to provide these required physical examinations for the low-cost of $100, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

“Carson Tahoe will offer another service that aligns with what our Wal-Mart Clinics are designed to provide – fast, affordable, accessible, quality health care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment,” said Ed Epperson, President and CEO of Carson Tahoe Health.
The Carson Tahoe Clinic at Wal-Mart, Gardnerville is located at 1511 Grant Street. Although appointments are not required, they are highly recommended.
