Carson Valley’s Signature Fry 2016: “French Fries” From J.T. Basque Restaurant & Dining Room
Carrying nearly 60 percent of the final vote, the French fries from J.T. Basque Bar & Dining Room won the title of Carson Valley’s Signature Fry for 2016.
We have created a virtual throwdown among Valley restaurants, seeking out the signature dishes Carson Valley has to offer. Through the first year, we covered burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, soups, steaks, salads, appetizers, breakfasts, pasta, dessert and fried foods (you can see the results here).
Minden Meat & Deli’s “Beer-Battered Fries” advanced through the nomination round last week, holding off some close competition from the “Silence Dogood Letters” from the Independence Diner.
The J.T. won over the Overland Restaurant & Pub (Deep Fried Cheese Curds), Minden Meat & Deli and The Grill Next Door (Garlic Parmesan Fries) in the final round.
