High Winds Expected In Carson Valley Over Weekend

GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with gusts expected to peak at 45 mph Saturday.

A high wind watch, with gusts up to 55 mph, has been issued for Sunday.

Rain is likely Saturday night, and again on Sunday. Monday could bring a mix of rain and snow before 10 a.m., then a chance of rain showers.

Highs over the weekend will top out in the low 50s, with overnight lows expected to drop to the mid 30s.
