The Douglas County Community Center also hosts Teen Night tonight (and most Fridays and Saturdays through the summer) from 6 to 10 p.m. for sixth- through 12th-graders. The featured game tonight is Human Hungry Hippo. Cost is $5 for drop-in or free with a community center membership. Each participant must have a release of liability on file at the center. Their summer schedule can be found here.

And the Douglas County Public Library hosts a Mario Kart tournament tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. as part of its teen game night. Board games will also be available and the free program includes pizza, popcorn and drinks. The Douglas County Public Library is located at 1625 Library Lane in Minden. On the weather front, look for a high of 90 degrees this afternoon with clear skies and winds in the 10-15 mph range. Conditions should remain mostly the same through late next week, gradually climbing into the mid-90s.

The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch for Sunday afternoon, extending late into the same evening, due to gusty winds and extremely dry conditions. Winds will range from 15 to 25 mph, gusting up to 35 mph, with humidity at  5 to 10 percent.

That’s a full lid for this morning. Take care out there and have a great day.
