GARDNERVILLE, Nev., June 2, 2015 — Former Minden resident and Carson Valley Medical Center emergency room doctor Noah Kaufman, who last year moved to Colorado, was on the obstacle course competition show “American Ninja Warrior” on NBC Monday evening.

Kaufman has become such a regular on the show over the past three seasons that they only showed brief highlights of his qualifying run. He did appear on camera multiple times and was interviewed with members of “the Wolf Pack,” a group of crowd-favorite rock climbers who train together in Colorado. He’ll doubtlessly be on several more episodes of the show this summer, so keep an eye out.

Today kicks off a whole string of public meetings with the Gardnerville Town Board meeting at 4:30 p.m. and the Genoa Town Advisory Board meeting at 6:30 p.m. You can view the Gardnerville Agenda here and the Genoa Agenda here.

The Mindenfest  Esmeralda Avenue Farmers Market runs from 4 to 8 p.m. tonight in Minden and the Douglas baseball team hosts Carson in summer league action at 5 p.m.

Look for clear skies with a high of 77 degrees and winds of 5 to 10 mph this afternoon.

That’s a full lid for this morning. Take care out there and have a great day.
