GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — The dedication of the new Children’s Garden, a project of Main Street Gardnerville which is funded by a USDA Specialty Crops Block Grant, will be celebrated at the Heritage Park Community Gardens during their 4th Annual Open House on Saturday, May 30th at 11am. A beautiful triplex birdhouse will be raffled off. Learn how you can make newspaper pots and plant seeds in them to take home, and Master Gardeners will be available to answer any gardening questions.

Elementary school children can sign up for free Children’s Gardening Workshops planned for June 20th, July 18th, August 8th and September 19th.
