GARDNERVILLE, Nev., May 27, 2015 — On Friday afternoon, prior to the Douglas High graduation, we’ll be in the 400 hall at the high school running a portrait photo booth for the graduates. Your senior will be able to find us in Ernie Monfiletto’s room when they arrive on campus (we’re told they’ll start trickling in around 4 p.m.) Graduation, by the way, officially starts at 5:30 p.m. out on the Douglas High School softball field.

Sierra Lutheran’s graduation is Saturday at 1 p.m. at its campus on Romans Road in Minden, and we’re told ASPIRE Academy’s graduation is Thursday night at Genoa Lakes.

The Lampe Park Farmers Market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at, well, Lampe Park, and the Sierra Chef Farmers Market runs during the same hours in the Sierra Gourmet Grill Parking Lot.

The Douglas County Public Library hosts toddler storytime at the Minden branch, 1625 Library Lane, at 10:30 a.m. for ages 18 months through 3 years.

And the Douglas American Legion baseball team hosts Reno at 5 p.m. this evening.

On the weather front, look for clear skies, light winds increasing to 10 mph this afternoon and a high of 78 degrees. The conditions will be about the same through the remainder of the week, with temperatures climbing to 84 on Friday and peaking at 87 on Saturday.

That’s a full lid for this morning. Take care out there and have a great day.
