MINDEN, Nev. — Under a steady drizzle of rain Friday night, the Douglas High School Junior girls scored 20 unanswered points to claim the Mountain Madness 2015 Powder Puff Football Game over the Senior class 20-8.

Lexi VonSchottenstein scampered 60 yards for a score on the opening possession of the game and the Seniors punched in the resulting two-point conversion for the early 8-0 lead.

The juniors later scored on a three-yard run, with the resulting conversion successful to tie the game at eight. They went ahead on a touchdown late in the half and added the final points of the game on a touchdown midway through the third quarter.
