Track & Field: Fisher Earns All-Mountain West Honors

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Douglas High graduate Dusty Fisher’s successful venture into the world of track & field continued over the weekend as he came away from the Mountain West Conference Championship with all-conference honors.


Fisher, who played for the Boise State football team last fall after playing football and baseball at Douglas High, transition to track for the first time during the winter indoor season.

At the conference championships this weekend, he finished third in the 200 (21.28 seconds), sixth in the 100 (10.65) and ran the anchor leg of the 4×400 relay, helping Boise State to a second-place finish in the race at 3:11.19.

Fisher’s all-conference honors came in both the 200 and 4×400 relay.
