Douglas County Elks Host 31st Annual Law & Order Night Honoring Law Enforcement

MINDEN, Nev. — The Douglas County Elks Lodge # 2670 hosted the 31st annual Law and Order night Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Elks Lodge located at 1227 Kimmerling Road, Gardnerville, NV.
This yearly event honors men and women serving in law enforcement and corrections during the national Law Enforcement memorial week. Over 33 awards were presented this year, from six agencies that participated in the event. Agencies that participated include, Nevada Department of Corrections, Douglas County 911, China Spring Youth Camp, Douglas County Juvenile Probation, Nevada Highway Patrol and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Honored at this year’s event;
Nevada Department of Corrections: Robert Pembrook, James Wood, April Adams and Michael Thalman.
