Minden, NevadaOn February 10th through the 14th, 2015 13 Cadets of Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post #2105 traveled to Pebble Beach to work parking lot and intersection details for the Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament. Some of the celebrities that played in the event this year were Bill Murray, Kelly Slater and Clint Eastwood to name a few. The event had great weather the entire time.

This event is a great opportunity for the Cadets to learn traffic control and dealing with the public in a high profile situation. It is a lot of hard work, long hours and at times unfavorable weather, but the kids love the opportunity to get real life experience.

We are very proud of their efforts and commend them on a job well done!
