Back in December, we featured a story on Gardnerville resident Steven Jacobo, who had just been selected to the U.S. National Adaptive Bobsled Team.

Jacobo lost the use of his legs after a 2013 snowboarding accident, but has since dedicated himself to showing that life’s challenges can still be met and overcome, regardless of one’s situation.

He has been racing at tracks in Austria and Switzerland over the past several weeks and has documented his journey on social media. Here is a look at what he’s been up to:
