Douglas County Public Library in Minden introduces Dog Day Afternoons, a READing Paws® after school program on Tuesday, February 3 from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.  Children in first through third grade may come to the library to read with a READing Paws® therapy dog.  No appointment necessary.  This is a free program.

A handler and dog will work with each child individually.  READing Paws® is dedicated to improving the reading skills of children using certified therapy teams as literacy mentors.  Find the library on Facebook and Twitter, douglas.lib.nv.us, or call 775-782-9841.
