We have a pretty steady wind outside this morning, but at some point it’ll give way to mostly sunny skies and a high of 54 degrees with 10 mph winds. That’s how the story goes for now, at least.

We have Fall semester Honor Rolls slowly coming in. We’ll post as we receive them. If you don’t see your school, then we don’t have it yet. But we will!

In today’s calendar, brought to you by k2 Pilates, the Carson Valley Arts Council Concert Series continues tonight at the CVIC Hall with Lavay Smith and her Red Hot Skillet Lickers. The Douglas High School Drama Club will put on a one-act play festival starting tonight at 7 p.m. in the high school drama room. Cost is $10 at the door. They’ll perform the “Tuna Fish Eulogy” and “Stroke Static,” both by Lindsay Price.

Douglas basketball host Galena at 5:15 (girls) and 7 p.m. (boys) tonight. Sierra Lutheran’s teams are at Pyramid Lake.
