$1,000 prize offered for Nevada PSA video contest available to high school or middle school students

 

The Partnership of Community Resources is collaborating with the Nevada State Governor’s Office and Attorney General’s Office to hold the Nevada Prescription Drug Prevention Video Contest.

The contest is open to Nevada middle and high school students, schools or community-based teams.

Entrants are asked to create a video message to create awareness about prescription drub abuse and encourage peers to stay away from abusing prescription drugs.

To participate, an original video must be produced and uploaded to YouTube, Instagram or Vine and address the dangers of prescription drug abuse and be formatted at a maximum length of 30 seconds for YouTube, 15 seconds for Instagram or 6.5 seconds for Vine.

Videos must be submitted to www.NV-PSA.com by 5 p.m. Oct. 10, 2014. Complete contest rules and instructions are available at www.NV-PSA.com.

Winners will be selected from each Nevada school district in each social media category. Statewide winners will win $1,000 for first place, $750 for second place and $500 for third place.
