Good Morning, Carson Valley: Dec. 6
by Joey Crandall, firstname.lastname@example.org
Ron Harpin’s fireworks photos from last night became the 1,000th story we have posted to Carson Valley Times since opening on July 1st.
Douglas county’s Melissa Blosser just missed the cut at 1,001, with her great story on the county roads crew.
A winter weather advisory goes into effect at 10 p.m. tonight, with 1-3 inches of snow expected. If you’re headed out to the various Christmas kickoff events, bundle up. High today is just 33 degrees, and it will fall quickly from there. Tonight’s low is 21 degrees.
It’s a busy day around the Valley, so we’re just going to post the calendar:

Admission is $5 for adults, free for children 16 and younger, and free for members of the Friends of Dangberg Home Ranch. Reservations are not needed.
