Staff Reports

The Town of Gardnerville will present fireworks Thursday night during its Christmas Kickoff at Heritage Park, which starts at 5:30 p.m.

They did so with the help of a number of sponsors and private donors, who helped foot nearly $2,500 of the bill for the show, which will run approximately 8 minutes.

The Town would still gladly accept donatings, which interested parties can bring to the Town of Gardnerville office at 1407 Highway 395 in Gardnerville, or they can click on “CV Kickoff Donations” on the left-hand side of the Town of Gardnerville Web page: http://www.gardnerville-nv.gov/

There will also be the presentation of the Heritage Park Gazebo light show, live choir music and possibly a bell choir, depending on the weather.

The event is free to the public.

  1. No, they have a couple other things on the program, some music and the gazebo light show — I’d suggest getting there 5:30 or earlier for parking purposes. Fortunately, even if you don’t, the fireworks are readily visible through much of town!
