Brad Spires named legislative chair for the Nevada Association of Realtors

Reno, NV (November 14, 2013) – RE/MAX Realty Affiliates REALTOR® Brad Spires has been named the 2014-2015 Legislative Chair for the Nevada Association of Realtors (NAR), after previously serving in the same role for the 2006/2007 Nevada legislative session. In this role, Spires will work closely with the NAR staff and lobbying team on real estate-related issues that come before the Nevada Legislature.

Spires is a 34-year resident of Nevada and has been a Realtor since 1990. Spires sells virtually all categories of real estate throughout Washoe, Carson, Douglas and Lyon counties, and he holds the following designations: Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource® (SFR). He is a graduate of Baylor University, a retired officer of the United States Air Force (USAF) and a Squadron Commander with the Douglas County Civil Air Patrol.

Spires has a history of providing service to his community and the state of Nevada, also serving as Past President of the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors® (SNAR), Past President of the Tahoe-Douglas Chamber of Commerce, Past Chair of the Minden-Tahoe Airport Commission.
