We spent most of the day yesterday Geocaching, and will have the promised story this morning.

Carson Valley Middle School will host a volleyball clinic for all middle school players, regardless of school, today and Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. Cost is $20. Douglas High volleyball team members and staff will be coaching the clinic. Attendance at the clinic is optional and in no way guarantees placement on any school team. Players should dress appropriately, T-shirts, shorts, bring kneepads, athletic shoes, Bring water & a snack. There will be instruction on passing, setting, hitting and serving. For more information, contact coach Huff at 782-2265 or coach Townsell at stownsel@dcsd.k12.nv.us

It’s been relatively quiet on the site the past few days because we’ve been doing some background and structural work. Hopefully the changes aren’t too noticeable, but you likely will see some changes continue to roll out over the next few days and weeks. We’ll give you a heads up for any big changes we come across.

Some Gardnerville businesses are working together to host a food drive on Nov. 23. You can read more about it at this link, but essentially if you bring non-perishable food items in, you be entered in a drawing and have access to some specials and gift certificates.

At some point, according to the National Weather Service, it’s supposed to get up to 70 degrees this afternoon. We’ll see.

That’s a full lid for this morning. Take care out there and have a great day!
