Mitch Park in the Gardnerville Ranchos is home to a newly-opened series of BMX pump tracks. Construction concluded recently on the advanced track, intermediate track and two beginner tracks. Carson Valley Times contributing photographer Brad Cockman took his kids out to test out the new tracks on Veterans Day and came away with some great shots. As always, you can view or purchase more of Brad’s work at www.brad21photo.com. Mitch Park can be accessed off of Mitch Drive or Topaz Lane in the Gardnerville Ranchos. It now boasts a full, fenced-in playground, tennis courts, picnic areas, stocked fishing pond, walking paths and bicycle tracks.
