First order of business today will be to get the Scott Rokis story online: We’ve promised it for two days now and have promptly been run over by the other news of the day.

Scott was on the boat following Paul Lundgren, who was attempting to swim the 80-mile span of the Sea of Cortez this week. Lundgren swam an estimated 31 miles in 20 hours before pulling himself for safety reasons. We’ll have more on how Scott ended up there in the first place in a feature story later this morning.

The Douglas High School girls soccer team fell in a hard-fought match 1-0 during the regional semifinals against Galena Wednesday night. We have a bunch of photos from the game incoming.

And look for some wind this afternoon, though not as strong as had been originally forecast. The high this afternoon could get up to 68.
