Douglas County participating in wood stove change-out rebate program

Posted By on November 6, 2013

The University of Nevada Business Environmental Program, with funding from the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, presents the Carson City and Douglas County Wood Stove Change-Out program.

Replace your old, inefficient wood stove and receive a rebate between $600 and $1,000. Additional dealer rebates may apply.

New wood stoves use one-third less wood, are 50 percent more efficient, create 70 percent less pollution and produce the same amount of heat. If you use a wood stove built before 1992, you may be eligible for an instant rebate from your local wood stove dealer.
