Nevada Day Band Director Tim Nolte presented the rotating trophy to drum major Sierra Wetzel and director Tammy Owens during class. The trophy stays at the school throughout the year and is returned to be presented to next year’s winner – at which point the school receives a miniature version of the trophy.

Pau-Wa-Lu was the first middle school to win the trophy in its seven-year history.
