It’s chilly this morning – below 40 degrees to be exact – and it’ll only get up to the high 50s this afternoon with light winds.

The rest of the week will be slightly warmer, with highs in the high 60s lasting through at least next Monday.

On the schedule today, the Douglas girls soccer team travels to McQueen for a 3:30 p.m. game and the Douglas girls golf team kicks off the regional championships at Rosewood Lakes at 10 a.m.

We’re working on a couple stories this morning which we hope to have posted by the end of the day. Also, on Thursday we’ll be taking our monthly outing for our Day Trip feature. Here’s a hint: Our destination rhymes with Snapple Bill.

That’s a full lid for this morning. Check back throughout the day for any updates and have a great day!
