Gov. Brian Sandoval has ordered flags statewide to fly at half-staff today through sunset on Monday in honor of State Assemblywoman Peggy Pierce who passed away Thursday.
Look for a high of 66 today, and then watch it quickly drop back down to 36 tonight. Best to bundle up for tonight’s football game.
If you get the chance, and you’re going to Reno anyway, the Douglas girls tennis team will face off against Reno for the regional championship at 3 p.m. at the Caughlin Club. It’ll make for some pretty good tennis. The 10th Annual Bunko for Breast Cancer event to support Carson Tahoe Hospital’s Cancer Resource Center will be 5 to 11 p.m. tonight in the Carson Valley Inn Ballroom.
