Volleyball: Tigers beat Hug, fall at Carson

The Douglas Varsity volleyball team beat Hug last week and fell to Carson Tuesday night.

Douglas played away against Hug in a league match last Thursday, winning 25-10, 25-16, 25-12

FRESHMEN
The DHS Freshmen Volleyball team defeated Carson High on Tuesday afternoon, in Carson City, in 3 sets by the scores of 25-22, 23-25 and 16-14.

The match remained tight throughout with neither team gaining more than a 4 point advantage.  Douglas trailed 12-14 in the final set and fought  off 2 match points before they were able to come away with the victory.
