Staff Reports

In the first meeting of the year between two Sierra League powerhouses, the Douglas and Carson girls soccer teams showed they each fit the billing.

In the end, though, not much was decided in terms of league standings as the two schools battled to a scoreless tie.

They’ll meet again in Minden on Oct. 29.
