The Carson Valley Inn features free live entertainment in the Cabaret Lounge on Sunday through Wednesday from 6:00 to 10 p.m., Thursday from 7:00 to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 1 a.m. As a courtesy to the Inn’s many sports fans, live entertainment is delayed as appropriate for certain major sports events so they may be viewed to their conclusion on the HD pull-down screen.

Stew Stewart, July 27:  A Stew Stewart show has something for everyone including country music, blues, oldies, comedy, classic rock, Motown and just plain ol’ spontaneous fun!  A Nevada entertainer for over four decades, Stew has appeared at over 100 state and county fairs, many as the opening act for artists such as Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Marie Osmond, Herman’s Hermits, The Drifters, The Coasters, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, The Oak Ridge Boys and more!  Stew’s band is a show in itself and they will be joined by Stew for his performances at 8 and 10 p.m.

Lisa-Marie Johnston, July 28 – 31: Lisa-Marie Johnston is an accomplished singer/song-writer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Lisa-Marie’s style of music is affectionately referred to as Stomp and Groove. Her sound is acoustically driven with some Country/Rock/Reggae vibes.

Chili Sauce, August 1 – 3:  Chili Sauce is a tasty new flavor of musical entertainment.  While favoring the R&B dance music of the 70’s and 80’s, the group also performs early classic Soul and rock ‘n’ roll with influences from groups ranging from the Beatles and Van Halen to Stevie Wonder and Prince.  Sit back and enjoy or stand up and dance as this lively quartet cooks up a spicy groove with a little “Chili Sauce.”

George Pickard, August 4 – 7: George is an accomplished performer, believable impressionist, captivating entertainer and successful song writer. He co-wrote “What Did You Do with Your Old Forty Fives” for Bobby Vinton and backed up many acts from the fifties and sixties including The Shirelles, The Diamonds and The Platters. He was also one of the Kingsmen (Louie, Louie) for a while. George has played the Fillmore in San Francisco with acts such as Santana, Big Brother and the Holding Company and Jefferson Airplane.

Hot Rods, August 8 – 10: The Hot Rods is a high energy oldies show band from the San Francisco Bay Area playing classic hits from the 50’s and 60’s. From Elvis, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry and Fats Domino to the Beach Boys, Beatles, Stones, and Motown, they bring energy and excitement of the greatest era of rock ‘n’ roll!  The Hot Rods Band features Scott Porter, guitar & vocals, Dave Somers, saxophone & vocals, Dave Shuman, bass & vocals, Walter Alexander, keyboards, Seth Affoumado, drums & vocals.

Paul Covarelli, August 11 – 14: Veteran musician Paul Covarelli is a talented guitarist and vocalist. He started the group Jo Mama over 20 years ago and also plays with other groups in the area covering jazz, swing, blues, Latin and more styles.

The Blues Monsters in the Outdoor Events Center, Sunday, August 11: Enjoy the Blues Monsters in a free concert from 5 to 8 p.m. in the new CVI Events Center. There will also be a Free Splash Dogs competition in the afternoon plus games for the kids and more.

The Steppen Stonz, August 15 – 17:  Steppen Stonz performs Broadway tunes, oldies, Motown and pop – an array of musical styles appealing to most musical tastes. The core of the group is the two lead vocalists, Michael Hill and Arthur Hayden, who started in college and have been performing together for over 30 years.

Dale Poune, August 18 – 21:  Dale plays guitar, dobro, mandolin and bass. An accomplished vocalist with a variety of musical styles, he has performed with the Fortunes, Buddy Miles, The Coasters and The Drifters – and is currently working with Lacy J. Dalton.

The McBride Brothers, August 22 – 24:  The McBride Brothers Band is an authentic 60s Tribute rock ‘n’ roll experience with great grooves, unforgettable guitar riffs and three-part harmonies.  The group performs a veritable timeline of the 60s American and British rock ‘n’ roll invasion hits, including songs from legends such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Paul Revere & The Raiders, Dave Clark Five, The Outsiders, The Seeds, The Vogues, Creedence Clearwater Revival…and more!

The Carson Valley Inn (www.carsonvalleyinn.com) is located on US Hwy 395 in Minden, NV near the start of State Highway 88.
