Summer at LifePoint Church will be full of excitement as the church makes some much-needed renovations to its 18,000 square-foot multi-purpose building.

During July, the church auditorium will be transformed. In addition to new paint, HVAC, and carpet, acoustical changes will improve the overall sound quality of the room that hosts more than 1,500 people each weekend. Upgrades include new acoustical treatments on the auditorium walls, the addition of professional grade Nexo S12 speakers, and a DiGiCo SD8 Digital Sound Mixing Console. These changes will allow LifePoint to minister to the congregation and community with greater care and excellence, and will leave a legacy for future generations.

While construction is taking place, LifePoint will close its auditorium for at least three weeks and will provide outdoor services on their 39-acre campus. Outdoor services will be held Sunday July 14, 21 & 28 at 9 and 10:45 a.m. The LifePoint staff is gearing up for a memorable time and is eager for the community to join in the celebration.

“If you’ve ever wished you could go to church outdoors, this is your opportunity,” said Mark Marsella, Connections Pastor. “As we begin construction, we will be talking about how God is always working on us. We know it will be warm but we’re adding a few special activities to make this a fun summer experience for everyone.”

Outdoor services will be equipped with outdoor worship and teaching, large shade tents, sunscreen, give-a-ways, and even a food truck — and kids of all ages will still have classes and special activities inside.

Once the Under Construction series finishes up, LifePoint will kick off one of its most popular series: Blockbusters. During this year’s Blockbusters teaching series, Pastor Bill McCready, will highlight spiritual themes found in at least four different movies. On the docket for discussion is Ironman 3 — the rest are still to be announced.
